Logistics Support - Inventory Control

SUMMARY

Responsible for pulling work orders, selecting raw materials and finished parts, issuing material to work orders, staging jobs for assemblers, WIP receipt and controlling incoming inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow daily work schedule and prioritize work.
• Gather documentation; verify revision levels are current and match.
• Enter work order data into computer.
• Perform cycle counting activities
• Perform inventory transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Pull and Stage jobs for Machine Tool Builders accurately and on time.
• Assist with expediting orders to meet required ship dates.
• Perform inventory stocking of items from Receiving.
• Understand and follow Lean Manufacturing processes and tools.
• Other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

HS diploma or GED; or 2+ years minimum experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
