Regional Account Manager - Inside Sales
SUMMARY
Motivated sales professional who is committed to growing the company and expanding the market share by continually driving to exceed the assigned sales goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Professionally respond to established and prospective customers and promote the company's technical capabilities.
- Cultivate new opportunities in assigned territory, by utilizing proven sales methodologies around Value and Strategic based selling training.
- Meet assigned targets with a focus of building lasting customer relationships.
- Through pro-active opportunity management interface with customers to better understand the customer application and recommend and provide appropriate solutions.
- Drive performance that is measured by attainment of annual quotas and activities that drive sales and pipeline growth.
- Coordinate and share knowledge and information with other inside/outside sales associates for the benefit of the customer and business growth.
- Identify problems and then assist and participate in problem solving of process/procedures or product improvements by identifying trends, problems, market changes and customer feedback.
- Provide comprehensive timely territory/pipeline activity reports, new prospect lists, sales forecasts and action plans to maintain required sales targets.
- Enter and maintain up-to-date customer data and detailed customer information into the customer relationship management software.
- Apply value added selling techniques to maximize ability to cultivate new accounts and close sales orders.
- Maintain complete technical knowledge of company, products, capabilities and possible solutions.
- Attend required sales training courses and apply learning.
- Participate in rotating 24-hour on-call coverage. Travel may be required up to 10-15%.
- Manage customer relationship and develop strategic and tactical plans to optimize the sales potential for assigned accounts.
- Maintain strong customer focus with the goal of building lasting customer relationships.
- Develop and cultivate new business of on-site machining solutions primarily through inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Develop, implement, and meet regional and corporate sales forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and initiate contact between established and potential customers to maximize sales within assigned territory.
- Utilize professional publications, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, leads, websites, and other sources to develop and follow-up with prospective customers.
- Execute the entire sales process from initial contact through qualification to closing the sale.
- Prepares and conducts presentations and/or product demonstrations as needed to support customer requirements.
- Assists in trade show exhibitions.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.); or 6-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
